Simple suggestion

Yea in the shops i haven noticed there is no rune armor and its hard to do bosses and stuff with out rune or bones for my prayer

you shouldn't put rune in the shops, if you want rune go to the island. tele karamja and go talk to the gnome pilot, kill moss giants for rune armour they drop frequently. but the bigboss has never dropped anything for me, only normal bones, try giving him more drops, also he is extremely hard 2 solo if hes not stuck in the glitch, since he always does damage and you cant multi him.

Does updating mean downloading another version ?

no. what will actually happen is the server will go down for a few seconds while being compiled. then in no time it will be back up and ready with the new updates. The ONLY time there would have to be a new client is if we added new items i think.
